Building our new place

There was no time to lose. Within two weeks we had to move 125 dogs to their new sanctuary. The contractor had to work day and night to build 24 enclosures with walls and steel doors. All lessons learned from the previous place was put in the design of the new place. The 24 enclosures measuring 5x7m would house each max 5 dogs. The deadline was reached and all dogs were safely placed in their new enclosure. Both, manager and supervisor, had carefully selected the dogs that could be placed togeather and they would soon discover that their selection was a success. Much more needed to be done and built but now there was no time pressure. For every individual project funds had to be raised and slowly but surely Baladi Mabsut was finished. We still have a few projects and one of them is the fundraising for medical supplies. Food supplies are always a challenge because of the high inflation rate and that is the reason why we placed a donation button.
