After takeover

After the lease contract was signed, it was all hands on deck. The shelter was in a deplorable state, as were the dogs. The place required fresh straw and new sand. The cleanup could finally begin. Once fresh straw and new sand were laid, the dogs slowly started to settle down. Regular daily meals made them even more relaxed. Soon after, the walls and enclosures were sprayed for ticks. The dogs also received their treatment. The sanctuary, ‘Baladi Mabsut,’ was becoming a safe home for the happy stray dogs.
